E-bike rebates for low-income Portlanders
Portland Rides aims to reduce greenhouse gas emissions, support healthier and more connected communities, and improve transportation access and mobility equity through lower cost electric transportation. This program will provide income-qualified Portland residents rebates up to $1,600 for standard e-bikes, up to $2,350 for cargo e-bikes, and up to $8,500 for adaptive e-bikes, as well as $300 for accessories such as helmets and bike racks for all rebate recipients. E-bike rebates can be redeemed at participating retailers.
Eligibility: Applicants must be over 18, live in the City of Portland, and meet income qualifications. Adaptive applicants must also need an adaptive e-bike due to chronic and/or permanent disability that prevents them from otherwise safely riding a standard or cargo e-bike. Applicants must also complete an online safety training. See website for full eligibility requirements and our helpful program guide.
